Prospective Students

Thinking of coming to Wake Tech and want to know more about disability services?

This is the place to start putting the pieces together to reach your goal of a post-secondary education.

While most cases are unique and vary for each student, the best way to start your college experience is to take two actions simultaneously:

		Apply to Wake Tech
		*AND, at the same time,*
		Send current documentation to DSS.

Take the COMPASS test, if necessary.	COMPASS Accommodations, if eligible.	Understand eligibility.	Self identify.
Understand the differences between accessing High School and College disability services.		Complete an Initial Interview with a DSS coordinator, scheduled by DSS AFTER your documentation review.
Attend Wake Tech
Come to DSS Orientation (Fall Semester only) Sign up to be a part of the Peer-Mentor Program
